RISK, DISASTER MANAGEMENT AND PREVENTION OF NATURAL HAZARDS IN MOUNTAINOUS AND/OR FORESTED REGIONS
The principal target of this project was to develop preventive measures, emergency plans and plans to combat imminent dangers in the project areas. In order to guarantee sufficient protection against the natural hazards it was necessary to point out the concrete possibilities, for the regional authorities, to prevent predictable calamities.
