RENEWABLE ENERGY SUSTAINABLE PLANNING AND USE WITHIN PUBLIC BODIES IN LIAISON WITH INVOLVED COMMUNITY ACTORS

The project started from the need for local sustainable development efforts to move towards a more effective use of Renewable Energy Source (RES) and Rational Use of Energy (RUE).

The idea was to create synergies at the local level between policy makers, local residents and market actors through the methodology of implementation of Local Agenda 21 (LA21), to produce bottom up sustainable intelligent-energy strategies at the local level in different EU countries and to create a network at the EU level for the exchange of best practices.
